People are fascinated with the idea of writing. So many people say, 'I want to write a novel,' but so few actually know what's entailed. The Diary of a Writer is an inside look at the life of a full-time writer, who's been writing for over a decade and actively publishing stories over that time. It's a hell of a lot of work to continue with a creative project until it's finished, but getting a new project off the ground when it doesn't yet have any legs is just as hard. Today, I discuss a method I use to avoid falling into that lull space between projects. It's a trick I've used for years to help me keep going from one piece of creative work to another, and no doubt, it will be just as useful to you if there’s a shelf full of creative projects in your mind that you’d like to see out in the world.
